Scottish National pen leader at Lanark was Clanfield Golden, a son of the 2022 Lanark topping 160,000gns Rhaeadr First Choice is out of a homebred daughter of the 100,000gns Auldhouseburn Expression. The hammer fell at 30,000gns and he was the pick of three north of Scotland flocks, David McKerrow and family, Uppermill, Jemma Green, Corskie and Robbie Wilson, Milnbank

Following at 10,000gns was Clanfield General, out of a homebred ewe, full sister to Freaky Freaky Fresh and Farmer and sired by First Choice. He caught the eye of Angus Howie, Millhouse.

Clanfield Gentleman was next up at 1900gns, another son of First Choice and out of one of the best gimmers in the flock. Taking him across the water was David McCreery, Topped.
Then came Clanfield Ghost Ride, full brother to General, he was bought by R E and R F Scott, Drumpark for 1500gns.
At 1400gns was Clanfield Governor, out of a homebred Castlecairn Diamond Vision daughter and sired by First Choice. He was bought by Gavin Hugh Jackson, Clyde.
1000gns for Clanfield Galactic, again out of a homebred ewe by Auldhouseburn Expression and again sired by First Choice, he headed home with Charles Stephen and Son.
