The flocks’ first trip to the Royal Highland Show was another successful outing, with the Texel ram lamb THE2201022 taking third place in the texelplus ram lamb class among strong competition.
Then the Rouge team enjoyed further success, with our gimmer taking first in her class, then the female championship and overall breed championship.
Stock ram Ian’s Yankee Doodle fared well too, taking first in his class as well as the male championship.
Wrapping up our summer show season this year was a trip to Harrogate where in some exceptionally strong Texel classes we picked up a third in the ewe lamb class with THE2201017, an Auldhouseburn Expression daughter which had stood first at Royal Three Counties.
Alongside this, our aged ewe CKP2004726 also stood fourth in her class, following on from her successful outing to Royal Three Counties, while the flock’s Rouge gimmer stood second in her class on the day
